Most Wanted Type Crimes

A deck of cards has infinite functions. Games, prompts, inspiration, and more. How can we utilize a deck of cards to create a tool? This was the prompt for the course Typography Two's final project. My love of type laws brought me to the idea of creating a deck of cards that would help designers and entrepreneurs proof their work. It also can function as flashcards to assist in typographic vocabulary. I went with a western theme to play into the fun idea of type crimes and built upwards from there. This helped guide my decision of typefaces and color scheme. Each card showcases an illustration representative of the crime, then more information and a solution on the backside.
