The brand I chose to design a rebrand for was Nature’s Path. Nature’s Path is a breakfast foods company that shocked me by being quietly the most sustainable and eco-friendly food brand I have come across. I highlighted their issue as being too marketed towards health food and overly complex. This made the product targeted to a very specific consumer. I decided their re-brand needed to separate them from the health food sector and make them more comparable to other breakfast food brands in terms of being advertised for taste, happiness, and have an overall fun enjoyable look. Their products and logos struggled with being overly complex, so I wanted my logo to be fun yet simple and trendy. The design I ended on gives off positive vibes and includes elements of a path to match the brand. It is much more modern and usable compared to their old one. I also chose the tagline “more than good” to highlight their quality, sustainability, and the overall enjoyment of their products. This design process was helpful to understanding what makes a successful brand and how identity can reflect this. I have a keen sense of what makes a strong logo and identity that was strengthened through the research required to complete this project.
